Aidan Lee Smith is an artist based in Margaret River.His first exhibition in Margaret River was a sell-out. He now sells his paintings all over the world. Aidan has completed a two-week residency here at Santa Maria College, working with Years 7-12 Visual Arts students. — Who is Aidan Lee Smith? I was born in Perth, Western Australia on 5 February 1985. I enjoyed fine art at school and had some success with portraiture, exhibiting at The Young Originals and Perspectives exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Western Australia in 2002, winning the latter. I received an academic scholarship to study a Bachelor of Law at Notre Dame University in Fremantle and graduated in 2006.
