His restlessness and love of travel has led him to live and work in a wide variety of cities across the United States including San Francisco, New York City, New Orleans, Key West, FL and Santa Fe, NM. All these locales have had a lasting impact on his practice.
He is interested in what it means to be a painter of the natural world in a time of such extraordinary change environmentally, politically and socially. Remaining aware of all happening around while avoiding topical reportage and editorializing, he assumes the role of a compassionate witness.
