David Griggs was born in Sydney, 1975. He currently lives and works in Manila, Philippines. Griggs is an interdisciplinary artist whose work straddles between painting, photography, video, and installation. As part of his artistic approach, he interacts with various communities both in the Philippines and Australia while exploring socio-political themes through the use of humor and aesthetic irony.
