E.E. Kono is an award winning author, illustrator, and artist whose clientele includes top trade publishers and national magazines. She grew up in the Midwest and studied art history at the University of Iowa and the University of Hull in England. She studied graphic design/computer graphics and writing through UCLA Extension. After many years of traveling the world she's settled in Palos Verdes, CA with her husband, daughter, dog, and the neighborhood's wild Peacocks. When Erin's not making books, she likes to sail, drink coffee, and plan her next adventure. — SoCal based artist, author/illustrator, and sometimes sailor.
